POLICE are investigating a possible arson attack at a pub in Thornton Heath this morning.
Firefighters were called at about 5.30am to the Golden Lion pub in Stanley Road.
A spokesman for Norbury's red watch said: "Someone had thrown a brick through the window and there was a smell of petrol.
"A small fire had been put out by the landlord."
A Met spokesman said: "We were called at 5.50am this morning to a pub in Stanley Road to reports of a fire.
"Police are investigating. We believe it might have been started deliberately."
