LABOUR'S Harriet Harman will be bringing her controversial pink bus to New Addington on Wednesday.
The party's deputy leader will be accompanied by Sarah Jones, the party's prospective parliamentary candidate for Croydon Central, Gloria De Piero, shadow minister for women and equalities, and Tessa Jowell MP, widely tipped to run for Labour as their next London mayoral candidate.
The visit to the Addington Community Association is to kick off the London leg of Ms Harman's Woman to Woman tour.
Labour hopes to use the tour to find out what women want from a Labour government and highlight the party's offer to women.
The pink van has been widely condemned as "patronising" and "sexist" by Twitter users although Ms Harman has denied these claims.
The Woman to Woman tour will be at the ACA from 10.45am to 12 noon on Wednesday (February 18).
