PALACE co-chairman Steve Parish is pleased with Yaya Sanogo's progess since the player's loan move from Arsenal.

The striker has featured in three matches so far, and Parish hopes the experience will benefit Arsenal in the long-term.

"He's a young and exciting player," said the co-owner.

"At this stage of his career they felt it was right for him to get that experience, and I like to think we have a good relationship with Arsenal.

"They are fair to deal with and they felt the environment would be good for Yaya.

"Hopefully he will do well for us and then we give Arsenal back a player who has had more game-time in the Premier League and learnt more about it.

"He did well at Burnley and very well at Southampton, maybe found it a bit tough against Everton, so it's a good learning curve for him."
