LABOUR'S Sarah Jones is on target to snatch the Croydon Central seat from Conservative Gavin Barwell.
This is the view of a poll carried out for the London Evening Standard, 100 days before the General Election, which puts Labour 10 points ahead of the Tories in London.
According to the YouGov poll, 42 per cent of Londoners back Ed Miliband's party compared to 32 per cent supporting David Cameron's Conservatives.
Based on this swing, Croydon Central would be among the seats in the capital switching from blue to red, the poll suggests.
Mr Barwell was elected in 2010 with a majority of 2,879.
In better news for the Tories, the poll suggests they could gain the neighbouring Sutton & Cheam seat, currently occupied by Lib Dem Paul Burstow.
