AN abstract image featuring Croydon's Skyline project during the Millennium celebrations forms part of a online gallery produced by Royal Mail which went live this weekend.
The gallery has been put together by Royal Mail to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its special stamp programme.
It shows every new stamp issued since July 1965.
The Croydon image forms part of a series issued in February 2000 to mark the Millennium and represents Skyline, a council project to encourage the lighting of major buildings in the town centre.
Other stamps in the series called Fire and Light show a blazing Millennium beacon, lightning over Edinburgh and the Snowdon mountain railway in Wales.
The Croydon stamps, plus all the others issued by Royal Mail, can be seen by visiting www.rmspecialstamps.com
