CRYSTAL Palace boss Neil Warnock was furious with the club's decision to announce who they might have got in the next round of the Capital One Cup before extra-time against Newcastle United on Wednesday.
The Eagles had just equalised in stoppage time, thanks to Sullay KaiKai's first senior goal, before it was announced over the tannoy system that either Palace or the Magpies would travel to Manchester City.
But Warnock wasn't happy with it and is demanding answers.
"I'll be taking it further – I thought it was a disgrace," he said.
"It had been announced and we had just equalised. You don't want to kill the crowd and I just felt it was a mistake on our behalf and I'll be finding out why we did it.
"I thought it was wrong to do that."
