TWO bus stops in Coulsdon have been fitted with electronic boards showing when the next services are due to arrive.
The £10,000 boards were installed at the stops in Brighton Road near the railway station by Transport for London last week, after pressure from East Coulsdon Residents' Association.
Charlie King, from the association, said: "None of the bus stops in Coulsdon have the boards, so the advantage is we can now tell when the next one will arrive."
He added they would most likely benefit the elderly who perhaps would not have the benefit of smart phones to check timetables.
The boards, along with 10 years' upkeep, were paid for with community funds secured from the development of flats next to the station.
