THE murder of an aspiring rapper in South Norwood is to feature on a BBC documentary about the joint enterprise law.
Umar Tufail, 25, was shot in the head outside his home in Wharncliffe Road on July 15, 2012.
Two teenagers, Sanchez Thomas and Kyrone Daley, both 19, were charged with murder under the controversial joint enterprise law.
Last April they were jailed for a minimum of 47 years.
Joint enterprise allows for several people to be charged with the same offence, even though they may have played very different roles, on the basis they were "in it together".
Sajid Tufail, Umar's father, discusses joint enterprise during Guilty by Association, a documentary due to be broadcast on BBC One tonight (Monday) at 10.35pm.
