DETECTIVES have appealed for information following the double shooting in South Croydon.
Police believe the 19-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman were shot inside a home in Kingsdown Avenue at around 3am on Sunday (July 6).
They were taken to a south London hospital with gunshot injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening. Both currently remain in hospital.
Detective Chief Inspector Jason Prins, of Trident, the Met's specialist gun crime unit, said: "We are in the early stages of our investigation and I would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or the aftermath.
"Two people have been left with injuries and I am keen to hear from anyone who may have any information about the person or persons responsible."
