CRYSTAL Palace co-chairman Steve Browett says there are improvements happening around Selhurst Park but wouldn't reveal exactly what, admitting Steve Parish is looking to surprise fans.
And Palace hope to secure one more pre-season friendly a week before the big kick-off.
"I think the plan is to find one more fixture on the weekend of August 9, but it hasn't been arranged yet," Browett told the Advertiser.
"There are lots of things happening around the stadium, but I think Steve would like to keep it a sort of surprise for the fans a bit.
"If we say everything now which is happening, it won't be too much a surprise when it happens. The work on the pitch has been the most important thing though."
