A CAR salesman sent a customer foul-mouthed messages calling her a "moaning little ****" after her complaint allegedly cost him commission on a sale.
Natalie James bought a car from Go Vauxhall, a licensed dealership in Purley Way, Croydon, last year.
The Corsa was sold to her by salesman Gary Brown, who claims he missed out on commission because she complained about his conduct.
Clearly still aggrieved months later, Mr Brown contacted Miss James out of the blue last Friday.
"Thought I recognised you," read the message. "The complaining little slag!"
When a shocked Miss James replied that she did not know who he was, Mr Brown said: "Oh yes you do.
"It was me that sold you the black Corsa, but then you complained about me for no reason at all and said that you didn't want to speak to me.
"I ended up losing commission I had earned for selling the car. All because you are a moaning little ****."
Natalie later posted a screen grab of the messages on Twitter, adding: "I bought a car from Croydon @vauxhall last year. Today I get this in my inbox from salesman who served me. Disgusting."
Replying to the message, which has so far been shared more than 500 times, Vauxhall tweeted: "We're really sorry about this & it's not something we condone in at all. We'll look into this & get back to you soon."
Today (Monday) Vauxhall told the Advertiser that Mr Brown worked at the Croydon dealership until leaving of his own accord in November 2013.
He then worked at Wilsons, another Vauxhall retailer in Epsom, Surrey, before recently being dismissed.
It is understood Miss James has contacted the police who are investigating the messages.
