CROYDON'S Martyn Rooney has been selected as part of Team England's Commonwealth Games squad.
The 27-year-old is representing his country in the 400m, with the likelihood that he will run in the 4x400m also.
Rooney was part of the 2006 Commonwealth Games squad in Melbourne, Australia, finishing fifth at the age of 18.
Rooney is part of a 129-strong squad travelling to Glasgow, with Hampden Park hosting the athletics events.
