CRYSTAL Palace pushed Chelsea all the way, before falling to a narrow defeat at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Marouane Chamakh netted for the third successive game, while keeper Julian Speroni was in fine form at the other end, as he defied Chelsea's expensively assembled attacking force.
There were solid performances elsewhere too, as Palace acquitted themselves well against Jose Mourinho's title-chasers.
