Palace assistant boss: We're in talks with targets as we speak

CRYSTAL Palace assistant manager Keith Millen says the club are locked in talks trying to bring new players to Selhurst Park ahead of tonight's 11pm transfer window deadline.
But he conceded that the Eagles may have no choice but to use the loan window once it opens in seven days' time if they are unable to make any permanent signings.
"We're on the phone to a few people," he told Advertiser Sport at 5.30pm on Thursday.
"We've got our targets and we know we need to strengthen.
"We've lost out on some, so we move on. If we don't get anything today, we won't panic, we'll go with what we've got, and in seven days' time the loan window opens."
And Millen revealed that Peterborough United winger George Boyd looked set for a move to SE25, but a last-ditch offer from Nottingham Forest seems to have persuaded the Kent-born player otherwise.
"I think he wanted to join us because we're his boyhood team and he would have loved to come to us, then all of a sudden he's gone to Nottingham Forest, where he went before on loan, so it's a strange one," he added.
"Some people chase a bit more money and look at what clubs would suit them better."
