A PERSONAL trainer has appeared in court accused of stabbing his wife to death.
Bulent Sessacar, 28, is said to have slashed his partner, 25-year-old Rebecca, dozens of times in an attack at their flat in Duppas Hill Terrace, Croydon, on December 20.
He is charged with murder and causing actual bodily harm to their six-year-old daughter.
Sessacar appeared for a brief hearing at the Old Bailey on Wednesday (January 30) during which he spoke only to confirm his name.
Judge David Radford remanded him in custody ahead of a plea and case management hearing on April 4.
Sessacar, who was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after the alleged attack, has yet to enter a plea.
