CRYSTAL Palace could be boosted by having striker Shola Ameobi available for tomorrow's clash with Arsenal.
The 33-year-old, who arrived on a free last month, has been improving his fitness and overcoming an ankle problem.
However, boss Alan Pardew hinted Ameobi could be on the substitutes' bench at the very least at Selhurst Park.
"I think he has got a chance for this game (with Arsenal)," said the manager.
"Shola is getting close. He trained well (on Thursday), he's had a hard week and I think his experience is going to be important to us.
"I am looking forward to seeing him in a red and blue shirt."
