Addington Judo Club sent three competitors to the Kent kyu grade competition for their first competition of many for 2015
Morgan Bulled (over 60kg), fighting in her first competition, fought bravely against ladies of higher grade and experience but was unable to compete at such a high level and came home with a hard fought bronze.
Emma Brown (under 60kg), fighting in only her second competition in 12 years also was out-graded fighting three hard fights and showing great attitude and perseverance to also return with a bronze.
Jamie Hewlett (under 73kg), had two fights winning both decisively by ippon with neither lasting more than 15 seconds.
Addington Judo Club is on the lookout now to add numbers to their over 10 year olds and over 16 year olds sections and can be found training every Tuesday night at the A.C.A, Central Parade, New Addington.
