A WOMAN has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in South Croydon this evening.
The pedestrian, believed to be in her 60s, was struck by the vehicle in Lower Coombe Road at around 8.20pm today (Monday).
She was taken to hospital having suffered a head injury.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
