POLICE have appealed for help to find a man after a hit-and-run at the entrance of a pub car park.
A 32-year-old man was left with a broken jaw and bruised ribs when he was hit by a car driving from inside the car park at the rear of the Melbourne Pub, Wallington on February 7 at 0.30am.
Another man, 41, was knocked down but escaped injury when the car drove into a group of men standing at the entrance to the car park.
Police want to speak to a white man, aged between 22 and 30, of athletic build, with short mousey-coloured hair. He was wearing a t-shirt with the words 'Hustle Ard' on the back and spoke with a soft Irish accent.
The vehicle used in the hit and run was dark and drove off under the railway bridge in Manor Road, where it overtook a bus, before turning into Beddington Gardens.
