CRYSTAL Palace look set to agree terms with former Newcastle United forward Shola Ameobi.
The 33-year-old was understood to be at the club's training ground on Tuesday.
Should the Eagles complete the move, boss Alan Pardew will have six strikers to choose from.
That could change, however, with Fraizer Campbell linked with a move to Queens Park Rangers in a swap deal for midfielder Jordon Mutch.
Ameobi left Newcastle last summer and joined Turkish second division side Gaziantep. However, he left at the end of December and is a free agent.
