DOVER Athletic have gained approximately £250,000 following their FA Cup third round clash with Crystal Palace, say BBC South East.
Taking into account the money from television, ticket sales, the amount spent by supporters on the day and from the Football Association, Dover's coffers have been boosted quite considerably.
The Advertiser was told that the Crabble outfit were in "desperate need" for the money after the clash, which housed a sell-out crowd.
The Eagles came away with a 4-0 win but that won't upset too many Dover fans, with the club pushing on in the Conference Premier and hoping for a potential play-off place.
