PALACE striker Marouane Chamakh says his lack of goals isn't affecting his game this season and is happy with the important role he plays.
The 30-year-old may not grab the headlines but his work-rate is appreciated by manager Neil Warnock, his team-mates and the fans, linking midfield to attack.
And he certainly comes in handy when defending corners too with his aerial ability.
"I am working hard and the manager tells me to take my chance in the side," said Chamakh.
"I am focused on scoring if I can, and if I don't I am focusing on the next time. I am happy with how it's going.
"I work really hard and if I can score, then great. If not, then hopefully next time."
