POLICE evacuated Lunar House in Croydon town centre this morning after receiving reports of a suspicious package in the building.
The Met have since confirmed the package found at the building on Wellesley Road was non-suspicious.
They cordoned off street around the building at 10.45am this morning, while workers in nearby offices were told not to leave their workplace.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: "Officers attended and a cordon was put in place but the item has since been confirmed as non-suspicious. The area has now been reopened."
