TWO women were arrested after a heated exchange in the gravy aisle of a supermarket.
A row broke out between two families next to the meat-based condiments in the Beddington Lane Asda last Saturday (September 27) at around 3.45pm.
After a few choice words it is alleged a 15-year-old girl was then punched, Sutton Police have said.
Police arrested two women, aged 37 and 58, on suspicion of assault. They have been bailed to return to Sutton Police Station in November pending further enquiries.
It is not known whether gravy was the cause of the argument.
