CRYSTAL Palace club captain Paddy McCarthy has joined Sheffield United on loan for a month.
The central defender, who has struggled with injury in the last two seasons, has been the subject of enquiries from several clubs, but has now agreed to join the Blades on an initial month-long deal.
The 31-year-old recently signed a new contract to keep him at Crystal Palace.
