CRYSTAL Palace striker Fraizer Campbell admitted his first half performance against Leicester City wasn't good enough and that boss Neil Warnock asked for more from him at half-time.
Just six minutes into the second period and the summer signing had his name on the scoresheet to give the Eagles the lead in front of the Holmesdale Stand.
"At half-time I went in and held my hands up and I knew I was poor in the first half," he said.
"Sometimes when your touch is not as great as it usually is, you've just got to run around and that was basically it, to put myself about more, cause them more problems and it seemed to work.
"The manager said I needed to get more lively so I came out in the second half and it helps when the lads behind me are closing people down a lot quicker."
Campbell played as a lone frontman, just as he did the weekend before in the win at Everton, but he doesn't mind putting in the extra work.
"It's tough but everyone else is doing tough jobs as well," he added. "The difficult part is managing the opposition players because they're going to have more if there's just one up front.
"I think we managed that a lot better in the second half and created more chances."
