JONNY Williams is set to find out whether Palace boss Neil Warnock wants to loan him out or not following Wednesday night's game against Newcastle United.
The 20-year-old started back in central midfield for the first since for nearly 18 months and he admitted it felt "good to be back there".
A number of Championship clubs have made enquiries to take Williams on loan but the midfielder admitted he would be happy to just make the matchday squad at Palace and be part of the Premier League experience.
"I just want play football really, like any player," he told the Advertiser.
"Ideally I would love to play here, even as just a sub or coming on.
"We'll have to wait and see what the manager thought of my performance and then speak to my agent as well. You hear all sorts of rumours so I would like to know.
"I thought I did OK on Wednesday, it was nice to play central again.
"I haven't played there for a while, well, I haven't started central since the promotion season.
"It was good to be back there as I feel more involved."
