SCOTT Dann was delighted to help Palace claim their first clean sheet of the season on Saturday against Burnley.
However, the 27-year-old hailed Julian Speroni for the penalty save which made sure of Palace's first shutout and hopes to build on it.
"It was nice to get the first clean sheet of the season," Dann told the Advertiser.
"Winning breeds confidence but it was also good for us at the back and Julian pulled off a great save from the penalty.
"I don't think Julian had much to do all game but that makes it even better when he's called upon. It was a great save to keep us in the game.
"We're a bit disappointed we never put some of our chances away. Anyone against anyone in this league, it was a tough game."Follow your Palace reporter on Twitter @MR_LWMediaLike our Facebook page at facebook.com/AdvertiserSport
