MUSOS and film buffs of Croydon received a boost last week as HMV returned to the town.
The entertainment chain opened its doors last Thursday (September 11) in North End on the former site of discount store 4 Less and JJB Sports.
Just 14 months ago, the chain closed its last branch in the town.
However, there was no big ceremony or fanfare for its opening.
An HMV spokeswoman said: "Croydon is a very important area for us, so following a short break we're looking forward to welcoming customers to their new store.
"The store will have highly experienced and knowledgeable staff from day one, as the majority have been relocated from other stores."
