NOTTS County boss Shaun Derry has not been approached by Crystal Palace to be part of their backroom staff.
That's according to Magpies chief executive Jim Rodwell, who says an approach by Neil Warnock and the Eagles "would not be welcomed".
"It's just speculation, which, as far as I am concerned, is absolute nonsense," said Rodwell.
"I have no idea where it has come from but there has been no communication or an approach from Palace and it would not be welcomed either.
"Shaun is our manager, he has a job to do here and that is the end of the matter as far as we are concerned."
