Tim Sherwood has been installed as the bookmakers' favourite again to become the new Crystal Palace manager.
After talks between Malky Mackay and the Eagles broke down on Wednesday evening, Sherwood is believed to be back in the frame for the vacant position.
The former Spurs man is as short as 4/7 to be named, with Martin Jol second and Steve Clarke third.
Caretaker boss Keith Millen is fourth in the betting order.
Outsiders included Neil Lennon, David Moyes and Chris Hughton.
