KEITH Millen says Crystal Palace will not sit back at Arsenal on Saturday and will look to attack the Gunners "at the right time" in north London.
In what has been a frustrating and difficult time for everyone connected with the Eagles, Millen takes caretaker charge at the Emirates Stadium.
Palace will respect Arsene Wenger's side, who Millen says have an even bigger attacking threat this season, but he will expect a performance from his own team, too.
"I have spoken to the players and I said we have to make sure we don't let our standards slip," he told the Advertiser.
"We have set high standards in everything we do in training and around the training ground and on the pitch.
"We know we have to be 100 per cent fitness-wise, mentally and tactically to have any chance of competing with these big boys.
"All we can do is make sure we put a performance in, work hard, and we will attack Arsenal when it's right.
"We have to respect Arsenal as a fantastic attacking force. They are stronger than they were last year, without a doubt.
"They have got different threats now with Alexis Sanchez coming in so we have to make sure what's served us well last year, we do again tomorrow."
Millen is also set to decide on who to start in goal at the Emirates, with Julian Speroni and Wayne Hennessey battling it out.
And he joked, stating the obvious when questioned.
He said: "It's one between two. One will be on the bench and the other on the pitch!"
