With less than 48 hours before they kick off the new Premier League season, Crystal Palace could be without manager Tony Pulis.
The 56-year-old is currently locked in emergency talks with the club's co-chairman Steve Parish.
It is believed that Pulis is unhappy with the lack of funds given to him to sign players with higher valuations this summer.
So far, Palace have brought in Fraizer Campbell, Brede Hangeland and Martin Kelly without really breaking the bank.
It has been suggested that Pulis and Parish have disagreed over bringing back Wilfried Zaha to Selhurst Park.
Palace are looking to kick on this season after an impressive finish in the last campaign - and losing Pulis would be a huge blow.
Bookmakers' odds had dropped dramatically since the early hours of Thursday morning, from 40/1 to 3/1 as of 3pm.
He is now odds on favourite to be the first to leave his post in the Premier League.
