A LORRY has smashed into a tram in in New Addington this afternoon.
A lorry belonging to kitchen suppliers Symphony crashed into the front of the tram causing serious damage to it near the roundabout at King Henry's Drive.
A woman in her 20s has been taken to hospital with neck pain but is not thought to be badly injured while a man was checked at the scene but no injuries were found,
Trams between Addington Village and New Addington were suspended for more than an hour while the incident was dealt with but are now running smoothly again.
