CRYSTAL Palace registered the first victory of their U.S tour with a 1-0 win over Philadelphia Union.
A first half Ethan White own goal helped Palace to success over a side who have lost just once in their last 11 games.
White headed into his own net on 20 minutes, under pressure from Marouane Chamakh.
Palace dominated the game and should have won more comfortably, but Yannick Bolasie and Dwight Gayle both missed golden chances, with the hosts keeper Andre Blake in impressive form.
