CRYSTAL Palace's new signing Fraizer Campbell admits he was 'frustrated' at the time it took for his move to be confirmed.
The 26-year-old has joined Palace on a three-year deal from Cardiff City, with the deal finally rubber-stamped on Friday after days of intense speculation.
Sunderland, one of Campbell's former clubs, tried to hijack the deal at the 11th hour, but Tony Pulis won the race for the former Man Utd and Spurs hitman, who says he's delighted to be in SE25.
Campbell told the Palace official website: "This is a great opportunity for myself to, firstly, get back in the Premier League and also have the chance to be around a great manager and some fantastic players.
"The last couple of weeks have been frustrating for me but I can't wait to get started now in the red and blue of Crystal Palace."
Campbell impressed for Cardiff last season, including netting a brace in their victory over eventual champions Man City, but he couldn't prevent the Welsh club from being relegated from the top flight at the first time of asking.
