QUEENS Park Rangers are reportedly closing in on a deal to sign Crystal Palace target Steven Caulker.
The Cardiff City defender, who has been capped once by England, has been linked with a move to Selhurst Park this summer, with Southampton also said to be interested in the 22-year-old centre-back.
But QPR boss Harry Redknapp has said that the west London club have agreed a fee with Cardiff City, with QPR hoping to partner Caulker with former Manchester United and England star Rio Ferdinand at the heart of their defence.
