POLICE are searching the borders of Croydon and Bromley for a missing woman.
Jane Sylvia Dale, 40, failed to return home to Maritime Gate, in Gravesend, Kent, on Sunday (July 13) after travelling to Croydon by car at about 2pm.
She was reported missing at 4.30pm the following day following growing concerns for her welfare.
Ms Dale has links to the Croydon area, the Met said.
The police helicopter is assisting with the search and officers are reportedly going door to door on the border of the two boroughs.
She is described as a white woman, 5ft 9 tall, of medium build with dark brown shoulder length hair and brown eyes.
She is believed to have been wearing blue Adidas trainers, knee length denim jean shorts, a blue/grey zip up jacket and had a black top or short sleeved white top underneath, and might have been wearing glasses.
Anyone who has seen Miss Dale or has information about her whereabouts is asked to call Kent Police on 101 quoting 14-1119.
