TWO people have denied murdering South Norwood father Michael Hunt.
Arry James Green, 21, of no fixed abode, and Fiona Nalty, 24, of Fairdene Road, Coulsdon, pleaded not guilty to murder when they appeared via videolink before the Old Bailey this morning (Wednesday).
Mr Hunt was found dying in a skip off Station Road in South Norwood on March 15, and died in hospital hours later.
The two accused have been remanded in custody for a trial due to begin on September 15.
Mr Hunt, originally from Waterford, in Ireland and known locally as 'Irish Mick', lived with his mother in Holmesdale Road.
In a statement released after his death, Mr Hunt's family described him as "a kind, gentle natured spirit, always happy-go-lucky with a dry sense of humour."
A postmortem examination gave the cause of his death as a blunt trauma to the head and torso.
