Australia captain Mile Jedinak has made his mark on this year's World Cup in Brazil. The Crystal Palace skipper converted from the penalty spot in this afternoon's crucial game with the Netherlands to give the Socceroos a 2-1 lead. Oliver Bozanic's cross from the left hand side of the box hit Daryl Janmaat on the arm and the referee controversially pointed to the spot. Jedinak converted to give his side a 2-1 lead against the Dutch and in so doing became the first Palace player in the club's history to score at the World Cup.
