POLICE have released images of seven men they want to talk to in connection with disorder at the illegal rave in East Croydon.
Thousands of people attended the event at the former Royal Mail delivery office, in Cherry Orchard Road, on Saturday night.
When police initially tried to shut the event down officers were pelted with missiles by the crowd, including furniture and fire extinguishers hurled from the building.
Police believe the seven men may hold "key information about the disorder that happened during and after the rave", a Met spokesman said.
They do not think any of them were involved in the death of Rio Andrew, 15.
The schoolboy fell ill after drinking from a bottle of beer containing the party drug ketamine, the Advertiser understands, and died in hospital on Monday.
Commander Simon Letchford said: "The behaviour of some of those attending this illegal rave and the direct attacks on officers who were there to maintain public safety is completely unacceptable.
"We will identify all those responsible and bring them to justice."
So far 14 people have been arrested in connection with the event. Two men have been charged with violent disorder and drugs offences. Two others were given cautions for possession of Class A drugs.Anyone with information about the seven men in the pictures is asked to call the Public Order Investigations Team on 020 8246 0076 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
