JEWELLED shoes, an origami skirt and giant paper flowers helped form a stunning exhibition at Coulsdon Sixth Form college last week. The creations were all made by the college's visual arts students as part of their course. Head of visual arts Fiona Brennan praised the "incredibly talented bunch of students" and their hard work. Art and design student Emily Wood, 19, from Shirley, described the college as her "second home", adding: "I have loved every minute of it. Art is where my heart is and it's changed my view of life completely." BTEC Extended Diploma student Adam Spear said he had discovered his "passion" for photography while in his second year at the college. He added: "I have really started to develop my own style. I didn't think I'd be in this position of knowing what I want to do, so for that, I'm grateful for the College Visual Arts team for all the opportunities that I have been given."
