CRYSTAL Palace chairman Steve Parish has admitted that Costa Rica striker Joel Campbell has been on the club's radar for a while.
The Arsenal striker, who was on loan at Olympiakos last year, impressed in his country's 3-1 win against Uruguay at the World Cup on Saturday, netting the equaliser and setting up the third goal.
His performance led to praise from several pundits and fans on social media, while former Palace striker Clinton Morrison tweeted Parish to say that Campbell would be worth a look at for the Eagles, if Arsenal want to loan him out again.
And in response, Parish tweeted: "Our Chief Scout Tim Coe been banging on about him for 3 months to be fair."
However, national media reports suggest that the 21-year-old is likely to be given a chance to prove himself at Arsenal in pre-season, rather than being sent on loan again.
