A MAN has been charged with attempted murder after an alleged attack in a Coulsdon bar.
Stephen Jelly, 50, of Brighton Road, Coulsdon, appeared in court on Tuesday after the incident in Mango bar, Brighton Road, on Sunday.
Police said a local man, 39, was wounded in the head at around 9.50pm. He was taken to hospital and has been discharged.
Jelly has been remanded in custody to appear at Croydon Crown Court at a later date.
