Two people were taken to hospital after the car in which they were travelling overturned this afternoon (Sunday).
The accident occurred at around 4.20pm at the junction of Park Lane and Barclay Road, Croydon.
A police spokesman said the cause was being investigated but it appeared the car had flipped onto its roof after colliding with something.
No other vehicles were involved.
The spokesman said: "The driver, a man in his 30s, and a female passenger were taken to hospital but their injuries are not life-threatening.
"We are waiting to find out the extent of their injuries."
The accident has resulted in the closure of the A232 in both directions near the junction while police and accident investigators are on the scene.
