YANNICK Bolasie is looking forward to Crystal Palace's end-of-season awards tonight at Fairfield Halls in Croydon.
A number of awards will be presented, including the Fan of the Year, sponsored by the Croydon Advertiser.
And Bolasie will certainly enjoy the event after a memorable season in the Premier League after winning promotion nearly 12 months ago.
He told the Advertiser: "It's going to be interesting and a special one. We have created history, and for myself on a personal note I am happy to get us in the Premier League.
"And also maintain history by staying there after the first season."
One man who will certainly get a standing ovation should he pick up an award is goalkeeper Julian Speroni, who is still waiting to see if he will be offered a new contract to stay.
And Bolasie is hopeful the stopper will remain his team-mate next season.
"Yeah, definitely (I want to see it sorted)," he said. "Look at the crucial saves he's made this season for us.
"He's a top man off the pitch as well."
