TONY Pulis has heaped praise on the Crystal Palace fans after their backing inspired the Eagles to come back from 3-0 down against title-chasing Liverpool.
Dwight Gayle scored twice after Damien Delaney's deflected strike to earn Palace a draw, having been 3-0 down with just under 15 minutes to go.
But in his post-match interview with Sky, Pulis was quick to praise the impact of the vocal Palace support.
He said: "The effort and the commitment of the players has been backed up by the total commitment from the terraces.
"The last 20 minutes was absolutely fantastic. Once we got the crowd going it was great."
On the subject of his long-term future, Pulis said he would be sitting down this week with chairman Steve Parish, to seek assurances on the long-term vision of the club.
Pulis said: "We're having a chat either Wednesday or Thursday me. It's a smashing club with fantastic potential but it's a way behind where it should be.
"It was the same at Stoke. I had a fantastic chairman there and that's what you need – a bit of backing."
