SIX fire engines were called to a fire at a house in Addiscombe.
Around 30 firefighters were sent to the blaze at Grimwade Avenue at 4.30am on Saturday morning (April 3).
The fire damaged the first floor and roof of the detached property.
Fire crews from Addington, Woodside and Croydon had the situation under control by 6.48am.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
