CROYDON band Rough Copy reached the semi-final of X Factor but will progress no further.
The trio were voted out by the public after a sing-off with Luke Friend tonight.
The decision was made by the public after a deadlock amongst the judges. Gary Barlow, Rough Copy's mentor, sent his own act through as did Nicole Sherzinger. But with Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne voting for Luke, it was left to the public vote.
On this evening's show Rough Copy performed End of the Road by Boyz II Men - an act they had been compared to by Sharon Osbourne the previous night.
The trio had won plaudits on Saturday for their performances of Survivor by Destiny's Child and Elton John's Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word.
