A 60-year-old man is in hospital with serious injuries after being involved in a collision with a car in Portland Road, South Norwood yesterday (Sunday) evening.
Part of the road was closed following the incident which occurred at around 6pm and was not reopened until around 8am this morning.
A police spokesman said the accident took place at the junction of Portland Road with Oakley Road.
He said the man was taken to hospital with serious but not life threatening head injuries.
No arrests were made after the accident.
